The following transfer options are available for Padang - Macaronis Resort - Padang:
1. Ambu Ambu Ferry traveling over-night to / from Macaronis Resort (via Sikakap) costing AUD 200 each way (total AUD 400 return).
* This option includes mini-bus transfers from airport to harbor for guests and luggage, air-conditioned private cabin, port handling and secure storage of luggage / surf board bags, take away meal, and speedboat transfers from Sikakap to / from Macaronis Resort.
2. Amphibian Sea Plane service taking 55 minutes flying direct from Padang International Airport to Macaronis Resort, costing AUD 300 each way (total AUD 600 return).
* The amphibian sea plane is a new service that is currently going through the licensing process, and will be available as an optional up-grade from the ferry subject to availability of seats.
For a full resort booking: we require a deposit of $600 x 16 rooms = $9600 to book out the whole resort (balance payment is required 60 days prior to travel), and an 8% discount applies off the accommodation package price for each group member.
Macaronis Resort accepts a maximum of 18 surfers visiting at a time, sharing between surfing at local surf breaks, and two large aluminum speedboats which can be used to visit more distant surf breaks.

Packages Include:
Private air-conditioned suite room elevated 9m above sea level with Queen-sized bed, private ensuite bathroom with hot shower, work desk and wardrobe, complimentary wifi internet, wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV with International channels, DVD player, veranda with ocean views and sea breezes;
A variety of tasty and healthy meals, focusing on Asian style of cooking and locally caught seafood, with some old favorites to mix it up a little. We have a fortnightly menu which includes regular BBQ's, buffet style and set menu's;
Use of resort recreational equipment including lagoon style swimming pool, snorkeling gear, game fishing equipment, sea kayaks & stand up paddle board;
Unlimited drinking water, tea / coffee making facilities, and snacks provided in communal kitchenette on Second floor (nearby entrance to guest bedrooms);
Speedboat transfers to / from local surf breaks and day trips in speedboats to surrounding surf breaks, plus fishing and snorkeling excursions;
Twin Mooring system at Macaronis - managed by Silabu Village. This system provides regulation of visiting boats with maximum 2 boats allowed to visit each day using the moorings provided, sharing access to Macaronis with resort guests;
Use of Wireless Internet throughout all areas of the resort;
Silabu Village donation Rp.20.000 per day / per guest;
Mentawai Tourism Tariffs Rp.30.000 per day / per guest.
Disclaimer: As the twin mooring system at Macaronis is managed by Silabu Village, Macaronis Resort can not guarantee the effectiveness of Management and policing provided by Silabu Village, however we do thoroughly support the system, and will do all we can to encourage effective management on a daily basis.

Use of resort laptops;
Spa Services / Relaxation Massages;
Photography (A$10 for 1 photo - $20 for 3 photos, or do a deal for a whole bunch!!)
Videography service (allow A$120 - A$180 for this - buy your own personalized surf movie at completion of your trip)
To secure your Booking:
Firstly you need to inquire about availability by emailing mark@macaronisresort.com
Upon confirming available dates, you will then need to fill out our Booking Form, also making a non-refundable deposit of AU$600 for each week booked to stay at Macaronis Resort, while balance payment is required 60 days prior to the commencement of your booking. Payment can be made with Visa or Master Card.
If paying by credit card over the internet, no merchant fees apply, however if paying from outside Australia your Bank may levy your credit card with a nominal International transaction fee. Please note that credit card details are protected by SSL certified 128 bit data encryption, provided by Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
